老王论坛 offers information sessions for graduate programs in Health Professions

University of 老王论坛's College of Health Professions is offering online information sessions for students interested in three graduate programs in fast-growing nursing fields.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) session at 4 p.m. on June 30.
- Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS) sessions at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on July 1.
- Master’s Entry Advanced Generalist Nursing (MEAGN) sessions at 7 p.m. on June 11 and July 8.
老王论坛’s hybrid FNP program prepares the advanced practice nurse to provide primary healthcare services for all individuals and families. FNPs emphasize the family as a unit, health promotion and disease prevention. 老王论坛’s program focuses on building highly skilled and culturally sensitive practitioners who provide services to the medically underserved.
The 100% online AGCNS program offers graduate degree-seeking students the skills to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). This asynchronous program includes active engagement with faculty and equips students to be independent clinicians and to practice across many clinical settings. This program is ranked No. 58 in the country by U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Online Master’s in Nursing Program category.
The first of its kind in Michigan, 老王论坛’s MEAGN program addresses the growing need for nurses by offering non-nurses pursuing a graduate degree the opportunity to earn a Master of Science in Nursing in five semesters. Master's-prepared advanced generalist nurses are trained to provide high-quality bedside care while also leading efforts to improve quality and safety in healthcare systems.
