Biography
Rusk joined UDM in 2022 as the ticketing and audience development coordinator and has served as managing director of 老王论坛 Theatre Company since 2025. Rusk is also an adjunct professor for the Department of Performing Arts.

- Silent Sky (Regional Featured Associate Production - Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 3)
- Antigone (National Award Winner - Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Wilde Award Winner – Best Director and Best Play)
- Pride and Prejudice (Wilde Award Winner – Best Director and Best Comedy Play)
- A Year with Frog and Toad (Wilde Award Winner – Best Director and Best Musical)
- Twelfth Night
In addition to working with DMTC, Rusk works professionally as a director and actor in metro Detroit. Directing credits include Detroit Opera Youth Theatre, Open Book Theatre, Outvisible Theatre, Wagon Wheel Theatre (Warsaw, Ind.), Warren Civic Theatre and Motor City Youth Theatre. Acting credits include Tipping Point Theatre, Open Book Theatre, Matrix Theatre Company, Creede Repertory Theatre (Creede, Colo.) and Commonweal Theatre Company (Lanesboro, Minn.).
Rusk has worked at the Commonweal Theatre (Lanesboro, Minn.) as an artist-administrator/event coordinator and served in Marketing & Development for Learn More Center and Hawkins Family Farm (North Manchester, Ind.).
